Samsung G600 - Smooth and Sophisticated

Samsung has churned out its best in the form of Samsung G600. This brilliantly crafted handset comes with a smooth slide opening mechanism, a form that Samsung specialises in. Samsung, the Korean giant, through its exquisitely formed handsets has turned this slider form into the favourite of all Britons.

The sliding format has replaced the clamshell as the most popular mobile format in the UK at the moment. The smooth opening and closing mechanism of the Samsung G600 is a breeze. The handset can be easily operated with one push of a finger. Good thing about the keypad is that it does not include touch sensitive keys, hence it's easier to handle. The 2.2 inch screen with 16 million colours and 240 x 320 pixels is one of the best offerings by Samsung.

The 5 MP camera with LED flash and 4x digital zoom is the USP of Samsung G600. This high resolution camera immediately catapults this handset to the position of a high-end phone, at par with the Nokia N95. It clicks great quality pictures, and also records superb DVD-quality videos. Two camera modes are available in this phone, viz. panorama mode for the landscapes and macro mode for closer shots. The camera of G600 also features an integrated picture editor, and supports direct printing to a Pictbridge-compatible printer.

The music player in the handset too doesn't lag behind in any way from its other features. It supports almost all major music formats, including MP3, AAC, AAC+, 3-AAC+ and WMA, and is touted as one of the very best. It supports a wireless Bluetooth headset, has a revamped interface, plus includes a dedicated music library. The music cannot be better organised than in Samsung G600. To make this handset into a complete entertainment package, an FM radio is also added. The 40 Mbytes of in-built memory is expandable through a 1 Gbyte memory card that is supplied with the sales package.
